Falmouth is a private Club, founded in the proudest traditions of such establishments. The golf course, designed by the architectural firm of Cornish & Silva has established a reputation over more than a quarter of a century as "Maine's premier competitive venue." In additiion, the Club boasts a beautiful clubhouse, a full pro shop, fine dining as well as a more casual bar and "Club Room" and a full-service kitchen. Situated outside the Clubhouse are four Har-Tru tennis courts, a full golf practice facility and pool complex (including pool and children’s playground).
A Club devoted to its Members, this is also a spectacular site for functions– from a storybook wedding to an all-day business affair. The Clubhouse provides full banquet facilities as well as an outdoor event pavilion.
Noted television commentator, Peter Kostis ("the Golf Professional for Golf Professionals") has been associated with Falmouth Country Club since its inception. This is the course that featured Kostis, Mark Calcaveccia, Tom Purtzer, Tom Kite, Bobby Watkins, Gary Koch, Ken Green and Davis Love in the "Pepsi Skins Challenge". The course has hosted the New England Amateur, the Maine Amateur, the Tri-State Amateur, the 2003 USGA Amateur Qualifier, two LPGA Legends events and recently, the Paul Bunyan Amateur Golf Tournament. In 2004, Falmouth was selected as the Northern New England host for the Dave Pelz Scoring Game School.
For 30 years, we have offered a premiere private club experience… in all things, a true tradition of excellence. Out of that excellence have come traditions of family and sport… of friends and special times. At Falmouth, we believe these are traditions worth keeping.
