THE OPPORTUNITY
Join Our Growing Culinary Team.
Falmouth Country Club operates the largest Food & Beverage program among private member clubs in Maine — and we need a Production Cook who's ready to bring solid skills and a strong work ethic. You'll prepare high-quality meals, maintain clean stations, and work as part of a team delivering exceptional food across club dining, outdoor operations, banquets, and catering.
THE ROLE
What You'll Do
- Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established recipes and standards.
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation practices at all times.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations.
- Collaborate with team members for efficient kitchen operations and timely service.
- Uphold fine dining standards and provide exceptional food quality.
- Support high-volume production for events and seasonal operations.
- Work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
A Cook Who Takes Pride in the Work
- Strong core understanding of basic culinary techniques.
- Ability to work well under pressure in high-volume production.
- Punctual, focused, dedicated, and reliable.
- Self-motivated with a desire to grow with our team.
- Well-versed in food handling and safety procedures.
SKILLS
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years food preparation experience
- High-volume production and catering experience
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Stand 8–10 hours, lift/carry 40+ lbs.
- Fluent English — read, write & speak
- Flexible schedule availability
- Culinary degree
- ServSafe / Food Handlers Certification
- Fine dining or private club experience
- High-volume catering experience
- Restaurant operations knowledge
- Strong references
