THE OPPORTUNITY
Shape the Course. Set the Standard.
Joining a 4-person Grounds Crew under a Crew Leader for daily maintenance of our 18-hole golf course and driving range.
IMPORTANT
Availability & Experience
Must be available through the full season into fall. No current high school or college students (spring 2026 graduates welcome).
Experienced candidates (golf course, landscaping, farming): $24/hr. Entry-level positions available at $22/hr with on-the-job training.
THE ROLE
What You'll Own
- Daily mowing of fairways, greens, roughs, and tee boxes.
- Bunker raking, cart path edging, landscape detailing.
- Operate greens mowers, fairway mowers, utility vehicles, turf equipment.
- Irrigation support — troubleshooting and hand-watering.
- Fertilization, aeration, topdressing, and turf health practices.
- Course projects — sod replacement, drainage, bunker renovations.
- Report turf concerns and equipment issues to Crew Leader.
SKILLS
What We're Looking For
- Available through full season into fall
- Not enrolled in high school or college (spring grads welcome)
- Comfortable outdoors in all weather, early mornings
- Strong work ethic, detail, reliability
- Works well as part of a crew
- Physical stamina for extended outdoor labor
- Golf course maintenance experience ($24/hr)
- Landscaping or farming background ($24/hr)
- Turf equipment proficiency
- Turf management or horticulture education
- Pesticide applicator license
