THE OPPORTUNITY
Guard the Pool. Own the Standard.
Hiring approximately 10 lifeguards for the 2026 pool season — Memorial Day through September 30. You'll be responsible for member safety, deck management, water testing, and daily setup and breakdown.
THE ROLE
What You'll Own
- Monitor the pool and enforce safety rules — respond to emergencies with trained protocols.
- Perform daily pool setup and breakdown — furniture, equipment, signage, safety gear.
- Conduct routine water quality testing and document results.
- Maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free pool deck.
- Communicate professionally with members and enforce policies.
- Respond to medical emergencies with CPR, AED, and first aid.
- Report maintenance issues and safety concerns promptly.
SKILLS
What We're Looking For
- Current Lifeguard Certification (Red Cross or equivalent)
- Current CPR/AED certification
- Strong swimming ability and physical fitness
- Able to remain alert for extended outdoor shifts
- Reliable, punctual, flexible seasonal schedule
- Fluent English — read, write & speak
- Professional demeanor and confidence enforcing rules
- Water Safety Instructor (WSI) certification
- Previous lifeguard or aquatics experience
- First Aid certification
- Availability before Memorial Day or past September 30
